Open to licensed Doctors of Oriental Medicine who are licensed and practice in New Mexico full or part time and wish to support and guide the development of the profession of acupuncture in our state and beyond!

 Professional Members are eligible to:

  • Vote on all matters submitted for a vote of the membership, including election of the Board of Directors
  • Serve on the Board of Directors
  • Serve as Officers of the Board.

Student membership details:

Available to non-licensed acupuncturists who are enrolled, at least half-time, in a program that is at least one academic year’s duration and is approved by the New Mexico Board of Acupuncture. ($6/mo, $13 quarterly or $50/yr)

Note: licensed acupuncturists enrolled in educational programs such as a DAOM or DACM (completion doctorate) are not eligible for student membership.

Student Members are eligible to:

  • Serve on the Board of Directors

Student members may not vote on matters submitted to the membership for vote, including the election of the Board of Directors. Student members are eligible to serve on the Board of Directors if elected but may not serve as officers of the association.
