The 2020 holiday season began with Thanksgiving and we are quite thankful for you: our NMDOMs, NMSAAM members, corporate sponsors and friends of acupuncturists.

We are especially thankful for two of our corporate sponsors, Mountain Spirit Integrative Medicine and Golden Flower Chinese Herbs, who have each stepped up to provide 2020 Challenge Grants. They are each happy to make a matching donation of $0.50 for every dollar in donations to NMSAAM (that are above and beyond NMSAAM membership fees) up to $1,000.

where we have a voice in our profession in NM, from inter-colleague communications and also a voice in the American Society of Acupuncturists. We are planning our advocacy efforts in the upcoming 2021 NM Legislative Session, where our goals are to protect our scope of practice and increase access to acupuncture medicine for New Mexicans of all socioeconomic groups. To advance these goals and to serve you better, we will be hiring a part-time Executive Director.
