9:00: Greetings and Welcome by President Yvonne Walston
9:10: Introduction of Committee Chairs and Members:
2 minute summary of the last year by the Committee Chairs, with questions from the floor, and a big thank you for their volunteer service of 2020 – 2021
9:30: 2 Minute Introduction by each of the 2021-2022 Candidates for the NMSAAM BOD,
including executive board and general board members of themselves and their vision for NMSAAM
9:50: Elections for:
2021-2022 NMSAAM President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary, and Board Members at Large.
(Current President will still run the September 18 Annual meeting for the rest of the meeting if the President-Elect is a different NMSAAM member, then passing the torch to the new BOD for the next NMSAAM meeting.)
10:00: Five Min Break
10:05: Presentation by the NMSAAM Lobbyist Group
Work to date followed by questions from DOM attendees
10:45: Insurance forum,
with presentation by ASA Insurance Chair, Mori West, reports by interested NMSAAM members, and a celebration of successes that acupuncturists have had by joining together for negotiations.
12:00: Lunch Break
12:30 – 2:30: Risk Management – the Ethics of Uncertainty
Two hour continuing ed class by Dr. Steven Malins that will satisfy the two hour ethics requisite by NCCAOM every four years.
Free to NMSAAM members and $50 for nonmember DOMs.

Proposed NMSAAM By-Laws changes, followed by NMSAAM member votes
