9:00 AM- 3:00 PM (EST) Advocacy Day: ASA Federal Fly-In & Acupuncture for Our Public Servants

Here’s your opportunity to advocate for Medicare recognition through in-person meetings with your legislators’ office. It is FREE for those who register for the conference. The more people who spread the word about acupuncture, the greater our impact will be!

It’s simplest to return home on Tuesday and enjoy DC for attendees

However, if you plan to leave on Monday after the Fly-in, a late evening departure flight (calculating in time to get back to the hotel to get your luggage and also travel to the airport to arrive 2 hours before your flight).

  1. A)  Live in-person conference on May 13-14, 2023 in Washington DC. 16 California Acu Board CEs approved. NCCAOM PDAs pending approval.
  2. B) ASA Pre-Conference Webinar Series. All registered for the ASA 2023 Live In-Person Conference will receive free BONUS access to the ASA Pre-Conference Webinar Series. These webinars have been approved for 13 CAB CEs. Partial credit is not available for the webinar series. NCCAOM PDAs pending approval.
  3. C) May 15 Advocacy Day (ASA Federal Fly-In & Acupuncture for Our Public Servants). 4CEs approved. NCCAOM PDAs pending approval.

ASA Federal Fly-In Additional Details

This is our opportunity to meet with state representatives’ offices to share the importance of acupuncture as both constituents and healthcare providers.

We will advocate for Medicare recognition through in-person meetings with our legislators’ offices. There is no additional cost to participate for registered conference attendees.

For those who are not able to attend the live conference, but wish to participate in-person for our ASA Federal Fly-In only, complete this form or contact Advocacy@ASAcu.org.

Acupuncture for Our Public Servants

Conference participants can also apply to provide acupuncture treatments at our Health Fair. Please note that Health Fair participants may not be able to participate in the ASA Federal Fly-In due to schedule conflicts. Stipulations apply. Participants will be chosen from the list of Health Fair applicants.
